Ya and right now my budget cannot effort an expensive 280 GTX. I will see what will drop in march and decide then. ( hopefully the Vapor-X series of the HD5770 or the gigabyte Version of The 260 GTX )

I heard about the HD4870 being able to beat the GTX260 in some points. Plus it might save me a lot of money.

Any thoughts ?

Better off getting a HD 5770 to a HD 4870, it takes less power, gives less heat, should be a little cheaper and normally about the same FPS.
