The new site will hopefully set a new standard in clean and simple websites that offer all the needed functions and nothing more.

As a gaming community we have always tried to stand out of the crowd, try something new where others followed. We have seen many of our design and CMS choices copied by others which makes us believe we are on the right track. Now we hope to make something that can’t be copied as we will be working on our own technology to ensure it will work as we intend.

Next to the features announced in the last post we are also looking into mobile support to attract new markets and make it simpler to keep track of the info on the site to come.

The next update will feature some screens of the upcoming site.

To get all these features working optimal we will be providing beta’s to the new site once we are in the next stage. We will be posting news on the site and its development once a month so stay tuned and listen for hints in the podcast.

[See post to watch Flash video] ]]> http://www.redcellgaming.com/index.php/2010/03/redcell-podcast-17-not-a-free-gift/feed/ 2 Happy New Year from RedCell http://www.redcellgaming.com/index.php/2009/12/happy-new-year-from-redcell/ http://www.redcellgaming.com/index.php/2009/12/happy-new-year-from-redcell/#comments Thu, 31 Dec 2009 18:59:56 +0000 Nokill http://www.redcellgaming.com/?p=1738 Its that time of the year again. 2009 was a busy year when we started to play Team Fortress 2 and the new Modern Warfare 2, and also concoles are not save for us as Graphit is leading RedCell forward in a PS3 section that will start playing in leagues next year, we have also started to expand in new social networks like Twitter and Facebook of witch only Steam is the successful one, next to all the sections we have also been working on a brand new concept to expand and change the way our clan works but more of that will be explained next year, RedCell Studio has worked hard on a small game for OneBigGame.org and the platform has had some delay but will be published early next year, besides our non profit work we also got our first payed assignments to work on with RedCell Studio and that will only grow in the years to come, besides the studio doing well we also visited the GamesCom for the first time and got drunk a lot not even to mention all the sake at the Tokyo Game Show, and the Podcast will keep on running and will visit the E3 if all go’s as planned and hopefully they will keep there promis of a new podcast every month, the number one game of this year is clearly not MW2 as we lack a certain dedicated substance to make it all work instead the title of best game of this year is “Dragon Age” and if you didn’t play this yet you should at least give it a try… now that all is done here, have a happy new year and we will start slapping noob but even more in the coming year!

So, here it is: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to Infinity Ward’s smash hit of 2007 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.  It has been praised as the ultimate first person shooter offering a true cinematic story and a multiplayer experience that will throw every other competitor out of the ring. And for the most part, this is exactly what Modern Warfare 2 is!

The first Uncharted was THE game that defined the PlayStation 3. Before it, there were no exclusive games which were truly unique to the platform, and all the offered experiences could be achieved on other platforms. But with it cinematic feeling, a Hollywood action story and not at least with it’s stunning visuals it kicked the door open to the Cell processor and showed what the PS3 is really capable of.
So after such a heavy hitter a sequel comes as no surprise. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has had quite a lot of media push behind it, coupled with extremely high expectations. And after playing it I can say that it is no disappointment in any way. This game is perhaps one of THE best games this generation.
